Make room for the dud!

After 10 relatively good videos I was bound to have a not so great one! I'm depressed.

The music I used is by Hans Zimmer, probably the best movie score composer ever. He scored amazing movies like "Gladiator", "The Thin Red Line" and "Crimson Tide". The track "Journey to the Line" is one of the best piece of music ever written. I get shriver every time I listen to it. It's from The Thin Red Line, a movie I never saw! But I heard it in a trailer once (Pearl Harbor) and I was simply amazed. I had to buy the CD even though I never watched the movie.

Hans Zimmer won an Oscar for his work with the Lion King score (not the songs! the score!!). The music I'm using for this video is one of the factor why he won that Oscar. It's simply breathtaking. The track is called "...To Die For" and I mixed it up with the ending of "This Land" (the more "happy" music at the end where Charlie throws the statues in the ocean).

Enough talks about Hans Zimmer! Here's the video:

Mary's Travel

Special thanks to [info]pacejunkie who came out with the title and jellyfrog for the breathtaking graphic.

*slaps lune* Will you stop calling it a dud! Give people a chance to see it and form an opinion before you trash it. It's a good video! Original, fast-paced and exciting. Great music as you said and tells a really cool story. I remember one time you said Message In A Bottle was a dud too and that won you your first gold CP. That was an amazing video. I think the boards have been slow today everywhere. People will comment once they've seen it, you'll see. As your video suggests, have a little faith :)

I just watched this one again, and it's so good! You're right, the music is incredible. So it's from The Lion King? I had no idea. That might be why it sounds so familiar. :)

You did an amazing job matching the scenes to the music. I especially like the Eko part... It's kind of creepy and surreal. And Boone's death is so dramatic, while Libby's is haunting. I didn't even remember that shot of Kate with the Mary head on the table in the foreground.

Very cool stuff! I love it. :)

Thanks jelly!

They did some amazing shots with the virgin mary statues... one of them being the Kate crying scene...
